Department – Classification: Clay Pigeon Shooting – Week 18
In the
last match of the 2011 season, the top two clashed at Oak Lodge, with Runners
up, Oak Lodge beating Champions Spennymoor 192 to 187.
Andy and Ron Calvert from Oak Lodge & Ian Mullarkey, Charlie Scott &
Keith Kipling from Spennymoor all shot perfect rounds
Thimbleby finished in third place in the league after a 191 to 178 home win over
Stokesley. Neil Coulson, Les Skeet,
Steve Rudsdale, John Hayes, Steve Boal, Mark Breeze and Ian Magee were joint top
scorers for Thimbleby with 24’s, whilst Kevin Bushby from Stokesley shot
similarly.
Marne
welcomed Fox Hall to their ground and Marne collected the win by a margin of 187
to 176. Colin Robson was top shot on
the night with a straight round for Marne, whilst Simon Fenwick and Nigel Cook
shot 24’s for Fox Hall.
Hardwick travelled to Urlay Nook and Urlay Nook won the contest 183 to 176.
Colin Kitching was high gun with a 25 straight for Urlay Nook, although
Mike Brown from Hardwick did score a 24 to be their high gun.
